New Wolfenstein tops UK’s boxed PC game chart

Wolfenstein: The New Order has shot straight to the top of the full-price boxed PC game chart in the UK.

The war shooter from publisher Bethesda sits one place ahead of Football Manager 2014 (which is at number two and has now been in the chart for 30 weeks).

Another new entrant during the week ending May 24th – Tropico 5 from Kalypso Media – made its debut at number four. 

F1 2013: Complete Edition also rolled in at number 16.

Meanwhile, in the budget price PC game chart, Goat Simulator from publisher Koch Media made its debut at number 12.

The comedy title has already been available as a downloadable game since April Fool’s Day and has proven a surprise hit with gamers. Gameplay videos have received tens of millions of views on YouTube since the game’s inception.

Focus Multimedia also published two new budget releases this week – Abandoned: Chestnut Lodge Asylum at number 15 and Shattered Minds: Encore at number 19.
