New Panasonic GM1 Micro Four Thirds camera is just 10cm long

Panasonic has launched a new camera that measures just 10cm long and weighs around 200g – one of the smallest available.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GM1 is a Micro Four Thirds camera with small body that resembles the Lumix GM1, reports Techradar. It measures 98.5 x 54.9 x 30.4mm and weighs 204g.

It has a 16 million pixel Live MOS Four Thirds sensor and includes a 12-32mm kit lens.

The DMC-GM1 also boasts built-in Wi-Fi for remote control picture-taking, a 3-inch LCD touch-screen on the back and 1/16,000 top shutter speed. Other features include stop motion animation, a ‘toy camera’ filter and more.

Although UK pricing and a launch date has yet to be revealed, the GM1 is the latest in Panasonic’s GM range which targets newcomers. Other lines include the G, GF, GX and GH.
