RC INSANE BUZZBEE DRONE
RC Insane has announced the launch of BuzzBee, the world’s smallest drone. Compact enough to fit inside its own controller, the BuzzBee measures just 30mm x 30mm x 20mm, roughly the size of a watch face. BuzzBee is an ideal gift or toy, for fun around the home or office. With a battery life of 5-8 minutes, BuzzBee also incorporates a host of fancy features such as the ability to do 360 degree flips and tricks, built-in LED lights for night flights and “headless mode” (backwards/forwards remain constant even after rotation of BuzzBee) for easy flying. BuzzBee works up to 25m away and comes with four spare blades in case of any crashes. SANDISK HALF-TERABYTE SSD
SanDisk has announced the Z410 SSD, a cost-competitive, half-terabyte solid state drive (SSD) that enables manufacturers to design for a broad range of desktop PCs and laptops. The 15-nanometer, three-bits-per-cell based Z410 SSD delivers the performance, capacities and form factor ideal for mainstream computing platforms. The SanDisk Z410 SSD is currently shipping in 2.5’’ (7mm) form factor at 120GB, 240GB and 480GB capacities, and includes a 3-year warranty.
AOC AGON SERIES PREMIUM GAMING MONITOR
AOC has presented its premium line of gaming monitors, the AGON series. Its first model is the 27-inch AG271QX powered by a high-speed TN panel at a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It delivers ultra-smooth images with a 144 Hz refresh rate and a response time of 1ms, supported by Adaptive-Sync Technology (FreeSync compatible, at a 30-144 Hz range) that reduces stuttering and tearing. It will be available in June with an MSRP of £479.
PC SPECIALIST WATERCOOLED LIQUID SERIES
PC Specialist has launched its watercooled Liquid Series line of systems for gaming enthusiasts. The new line lets users pick from the colour of the liquid, braided PSU cables and LEDs used. There are Entry, Mid, High and Extreme kits available starting at £1,299.
HP CHROMEBOOK 13
HP Inc. has unveiled its premium HP Chromebook 13, designed with Google, and powered by the 6th generation Intel Core m processor. Measuring only 12.9 millimeters deep when closed and weighing 2.86 pounds, the Chromebook 13 has twice the performance and battery life of leading premium tablets.
BROTHER MONO PRINTERS
Brother UK has launched 13 mono laser models with features designed to help small and medium sized businesses improve productivity while helping ensure IT security. The 13 models across the L6300, L6600, L6800 and L5000 ranges have been designed to give smaller businesses access to the same enterprise-level features in models to suit their scale. The new ranges offer a variety of security features to help end-users protect against the increasing threat of cyber-attacks. These include Active Directory integration, LDAP, NFC secure function lock, secure print, IP-sec and secure PDF, to help prevent data breaches via customers’ IT peripherals and keep confidential data safe.
DYNAMODE USB3 PRODUCTS
Dynamode has introduced three new USB3 products. The USB3-HB-4PM features four independent USB3 ports that are all backwards compatible with USB2 devices. The USB3-HB-8P comes with eight independent USB ports, with a status LED on each one. Lastly, the USB3-CR-6P is a memory card access solution with the ability to read and write to almost all popular and future memory and formats including SD, MiniSD, MicroSD, CompactFlash and more.
