As part of a campaign to raise money for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella, received an ice-cold bucket of water over his head.

Mark Zuckerberg has also received the same treatment, as he was challenged by Chris Christie, governor of New Jersey, to take part.

In a video, after throwing the cold water over himself, Zuckerberg said: “That was really cold.”

Those who complete the challenge are free to ask three others to follow suit, and in this case Zuckerberg has asked Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates to rise to the challenge within 24 hours.

Nadella also originally asked Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and Google co-founder Larry Page to get involved with the charity stunt. So let’s wait and see who else takes the plunge.

Those who wish to take part can do so via social media or donate directly through the ALS webpage
