Midwich signs Livestream, Tech Exposed will be viewable online

Midwich’s Technology Exposed event taking place this week (September 18th and 19th) will be streamed live online, as the distributor enters into a partnership with Livestream.

Livestream, a manufacturer of award-winning hardware and software tools for live streaming, will be producing Midwich’s event and streaming footage via Livestream.com, allowing those who can’t attend to view the trade show where the latest products will be on display.

Midwich will be distributing Livestream’s line of hardware and software solutions in the UK.

Livestream was established in 2007 and broadcasts events from rock concerts to fashion shows. More than 30 million viewers watch over 75,000 live events each month from customers including The New York Times, Facebook, ESPN and Warner Bros. Records.

“This partnership marks the beginning of Livestream’s international hardware distribution, said Jeff Varnell, EVP Business Development, Livestream. “We are thrilled to join with Midwich to further our mission to democratise live video and expand on their exceptional AV solutions.”

Andrew Rothery, Technical Lead for the broadcast division of Midwich, added: “We’re delighted to add Livestream to our streaming portfolio. Livestream’s easy to use products make them accessible to all, from primary school sports days to live operations in hospitals – the vertical market possibilities are almost limitless.”
