PCR AWARDS 2010: The UK PC and technology trade converges on London's Royal Garden Hotel to celebrate the successes of the year

Microsoft and EntaTech win big at PCR Awards

Over 300 retailers, resellers, distributors and vendors descended on the capital last night for an evening of celebration and networking, as the third annual PCR Awards hit Kensington’s Royal Garden Hotel.

Microsoft was the star of the show, picking up Software Publisher and Campaign of the Year, as well as the prestigious Grand Prix, following the launch of Windows 7 last year.

Elsewhere, EntaTech cleaned up in the distribution category, taking home both the Sales Team and Distributor of the Year prizes.

In the Frontline category, Utopia Computers was presented with the Independent Retailer award, and John Lewis won the Retail Chain prize.

"All the winners should be very proud of themselves and their partners," said PCR publisher Stuart Dinsey. "These are publicly voted for awards, so they are a real reflection of success in the UK trade. The evening was a triumph for all those involved, we’d like to thank all the attendees and those that supported us – roll on next year."
