IT distributor Micro-P has announced an alliance with Tripp Lite, a manufacturer of power protection and infrastructure equipment. The partnership will be supported by PowerIT-2-Channel, which helps take growth brands to market in Europe.

Tripp Lite, well established in the US and offering over 3,000 products, is hoping to bring a renewed focus to its channel strategy in the UK by partnering with Micro-P, with the aim of offering a broader selection of products at competitive price points.

Update: Micro-P today announced it had also inked a deal with Huawei to distribute its products.
Micro-P will stock a range of Huawei products from core and edge networking and routing appliances up to telepresence solutions and offer expert help to the channel on all products.
