Still on the run fugitive John McAfee has reportedly been found after an image he posted contained information detailing his location.
Whilst initially denying the claims, stating that he forged the data intentionally to mislead authorities, McAfee has contacted journalists located within Guatemala City.
Speaking with the media, the 67-year-old reiterated his belief that the Belize government is persecuting him, which has continued since his initial arrest.
However, the anti-virus founder is now wanted as a material witness in the murder case of his neighbour, Gregory Faull.
During an interview with NBC, McAfee stated he is seeking protection of the Guatemalan government, whilst additionally offering a reward of $25,000 for the capture of the "person or persons" behind Faull's killing.
While on the run with his 20-year-old girlfriend, McAfee has allegedly changed his appearance, as well as sent out a decoy travelling on a North Korean passport.
