INÈS VAN GENNIP, MARKETING DIRECTOR, SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS UK & IRELAND

Inès van Gennip is responsible for managing the marketing activities across four different categories: mobile, tablet, camera and NPC. She has previously worked as brand director at Samsung’s European headquarters, where she developed various initiatives.

PHILIP SCHILLER, SENIOR VP, WORLDWIDE MARKETING, APPLE

With more than 25 years of experience, including 20 years at Apple, Philip Schiller is a veteran tech marketer. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Boston College in 1982, he went on to work at Macromedia, and Norton, before moving across to the US tech giant Apple.

REBECCA SHEARS, HEAD OF MARKETING, PPS, HP UK & IRELAND

Having headed up the marketing team at HP for more than four years, Rebecca Shears previously held senior roles at T-Mobile and BT. She has worked on many high profile brand campaigns for HP, including HP’s partnership with the Universal Music Group, bringing events to the UK.

MARTIN BECKWITH, SME MARKETING AND UKI MARKETING OPERATIONS MANAGER, IBM UK

Beckwith offers a guiding hand to the marketing of IBM’s solutions for a smarter planet to its SME clients and partners. He is also the operations manager for IBM’s marketing division, where he oversees the management of budgets and the associated business control.

LUCY HEARN, UK MARKETING MANAGER, DIGITAL MEDIA GROUP, HITACHI

Lucy Hearn started her career as a buying intern at retailer John Lewis, before moving to marketing and inside sales support at Spigraph UK. She moved to Hitachi Digital Media as marketing executive in October 2013 and now works as marketing manager for the group.

PHILIPPA SNARE, CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER, MICROSOFT UK

Philippa Snare has worked in the internet industry for over 20 years and is a qualified web developer. She began at Scoot, building a dotcom business growing £100 million in classified ads. In 2000, Philippa joined Microsoft in MSN and grew online services by 300 per cent in advertising revenue.

BECKY GREEN, UK & IRELAND PRODUCT MARKETING SPECIALIST, PANASONIC

Becky Green is responsible for developing and maintaining marketing, advertising and promotional strategies in Panasonic’s Security division. She has worked across a number of product categories, including Broadcast Cameras and Industrial Medical Vision.

PHILIP OLDHAM, HEAD OF B2B MARKETING, SAMSUNG UK & IRELAND

Since July 2012, Philip Oldham has been the head of B2B marketing for Samsung UK & Ireland. He is responsible for overseeing all marketing activity for Samsung’s B2B products and solutions in a variety of markets. Philip has over 12 years experience in B2B marketing roles.

TAREK BOUDOUR, HEAD OF MARKETING, TOSHIBA UK

Tarek is responsible for managing the marketing team for Northern Europe (UK, Ireland & Nordics). He has extensive experience in delivering fully integrated marketing strategies for Toshiba’s key consumer electronics products, helping to differentiate Toshiba from its competitors.

SIMON HALL, MARKETING UK COUNTRY HEAD, DELL

Simon Hall is the UK country head of marketing for Dell, with over 15 years’ experience in the IT industry. He holds a leadership position at Dell UK, overseeing UK marketing across all segments including consumer, small business, medium enterprises, and large institutions.

Frances Ashcroft worked with some of the biggest brands in the automotive and technology industries, including Volkswagen, Mitsubishi and Nokia, before she joined Intel. A firm believer in the value that good marketing can add to the business, she has been continually successful.

A technical product management and marketing expert, Andrew has been connecting business, people and products through technology for more than a decade. With experience in international marketing and sales, he promotes Gigabyte’s product portfolio throughout the UK.

Mark Thackara is the UK national marketing manager for Olympus – the tech vendor well known for its cameras and other products within consumer electronics. He represents the brand on several levels, and is responsible for the brand’s marketing strategy in the UK.

JACKIE NIXON, HEAD OF MARKETING. CISCO UK & IRELAND

Jackie Nixon joined Cisco in 2008 and now heads up marketing for the UK and Ireland. She dipped her toe in the technology industry while working in a PR agency on the rollout of the National Program for IT. She then took the plunge working for Microsoft, prior to moving to Cisco, six years ago.

Simon Carter is part of the UK and Ireland executive leadership team for the £27 billion global IT company Fujitsu. He is responsible for all marketing activity in the region, from marketing strategy to customer insight, to advertising across different sectors.

Ben Walsh has developed advertising campaigns across some of the UK’s most successful brands including Vodafone. After joining Samsung, he has since switched to the smartphone innovator HTC, where he led strategic positioning around the brand, before becoming head of marketing in the UK.

After spending 12 years in a variety of marketing roles for UK OEMs, John Swatton joined ASUS in 2008 and leads the team responsible for all branding, product marketing, retail marketing and PR for ASUS in the UK. He is also responsible for the UK execution of global brand awareness campaigns.

Heading up UK marketing operations for camera specialist Nikon, Jeremy Gilbert is responsible for promoting the brand, whether it’s the latest products from the Digital SLR Camera D4 and the Compact Digital Camera Coolpix S800c – or even EDG Binoculars – to the services it provides.
