Successor to G2 handset to have 2560x1440 resolution screen

LG G3 smartphone to feature 2K display

The LG G3 smartphone is to feature a 2K display.

Ubergizmo, citing a “reliable source”, posted an image that claims to show the successor to LG’s G2 handset featuring a screen resolution of 2560×1440 – or 2K.

LG has since confirmed that its next product will include a 2K display.

The image also reveals that the graphics processor in the phone is a Qualcomm Adreno 330, which has been taken as a suggestion that the phone’s processor will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801.

Other rumours concerning the phone include an internal storage capacity of 32GB and a redesigned interface which adopts a flattened appearance.
