Smartphone comes with 5.2-inch display

LG G2’s front and sides completely void of buttons

LG has unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the LG G2, which has all its physical buttons placed on the back of the device.

The front and sides of the new phone are completely void of buttons, with the power button and volume controls located just below the camera lens on the back of the G2.

LG puts this design move down to the fact that the phone’s 5.2-inch screen makes it difficult for users to properly access the side keys.

LG also explained that powering up the device is not just restricted to using the physical button. When the G2 is lying on a surface facing up, it can be powered on by tapping the display twice.

Specs include a 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 13MP rear camera, 2.1MP from camera, 3,000mAh battery, and Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2.
