LG G Flex gets UK release

LG’s curved smartphone, the G Flex, will make its way to the UK and other European countries in February.

The 6-inch device has a vertically curved screen, a 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage memory, and a 13MP camera.

LG boasts that the curved screen provides better sound, a ‘reassuring’ grip in your hand, and a more comfortable shape for your back pocket.

So far the G Flex has only been available in Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore, but from February consumers in 20 European countries, including the UK, Germany, Italy and France, will be able to get their hands on it.

LG’s G Flex will also launch in the US sometime this quarter, where it will be available through AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile.
