Legal firm looks into action over iPhone 4 reception issues

Law firm to sue Apple

A Californian law firm is investigating in to the reception problems with the new iPhone, with a possible class action.

According to Gawker, a firm called Kershaw, Cutter & Ratinoff is55 searching for people that have “recently purchased the new iPhone and have experienced poor reception quality, dropped calls and weak signals.”

There is evidence of the same issue within other phone models, so Apple is suggesting gripping the phone differently. However there is no model that has received the amount of public complaints as Apple has regarding the iPhone 4.

The fault is said to occur when the users hand covers the lower left corner of the phone, this is when the phone looses signal. This is supposed to occur by the iPhone 4’s stainless steel casing, which acts as an antenna that is covered when gripped in a certain way causing the loss of single.
