John Lewis has been voted the UK's favourite electrical retailer in a poll of more than 6,000 shoppers.
The Consumer Satisfaction Survey Index 2008 survey, carried out by retail analysts Verdict Research, found that the retailer had been voted the top UK retailer in the electrical section for the fourth consecutive year running.
It also revealed that it had also increased levels of satisfaction, despite a toughening retail environment.
It also regained its crown as the number one retailer in the UK for customer satisfaction a year after being dethroned by sister company Waitrose in the 2007 survey.
Amazon and Play also scored highly, coming fourth and seventh respectively.
