Sub-distributor ITAC UK has gone into administration, leading some to question the stability of such firms in general.
KPMG has been made the official administrator of the troubled company, which has partner deals with Microsoft, CA, Symantec, Adobe and McAfee, reported CRN.
“We were appointed on Monday. It is early days and we are carrying out a detailed investigation into what went wrong,” said Paul Flint, administrator at KPMG.
Eddie Pacey, director of credit at one of ITAC’s creditors Bell Micro added: “It makes me question whether these kind of businesses are still viable businesses.”
