ISS 2015: Intel evolves channel programme with benefits for retailers

Intel has announced a number of benefits for its retail and education partners at the 2015 Intel Solutions Summit (ISS).

Intel Technology Provider (a global partner programme for resellers) has received a number of improvements to its member benefits, as well as Internet of Things solutions for retailers.

The programme has evolved to help partners become more profitable as experts in building and selling solutions, while earning rewards.

Specialty benefits have been announced at ISS for key markets such as retail, education and Internet of Things (IoT) retail solutions.

Retailer’s benefits include access to a marketing development manager, face-to-face retail training, Intel retail merchandising assets such as physical merchandise and on-screen demos, partner-only events and reward points.

Benefits for education resellers include education specialist designation, which helps partners become experts in providing Intel tech and solutions in the education industry.

Intel education resources consist of sales training, presentations, file download and customisation, participation in success stories plus rewards points for Intel education software.

Internet of Things benefits for retail solutions providers include mPOS, digital signage, content management systems (CMS) and analytics which have been improved to include access to pre-sale tech support, retail solutions specialty designation, special access to exclusive analyst studies, partner promotions, events and networking plus innovation labs, where partners can share their knowledge on the IoT space.

The Intel Technology Provider programme sells through a network of over 850 distributor locations, using a network of 150,000 partners in 140 countries.
