A historical theme park in Israel is equipping its Burros with routers, allowing its customers to tweet, email and surf the web mid-donkey ride.

Known as Kfar Kedem, the attraction aims to recreate life from the Common Era's First and Second centuries.

Quite how the addition of wi-fi fits here is baffling, but it's an interesting plan all the same.

The idea was created for the park's visitors, many of whom are foreign tourists who rely heavily on roaming mobile services in order to stay in touch and share their holiday experience.

Currently, only five of the amusement's donkeys are wi-fi enabled, however, there are plans to expand the fleet of walking web-imals to incorporate all of the village's 30 mules within the network.

The internet can be an ass, literally.
