Phone features an oval-shaped flash hole

Is this the iPhone 6C? Images of alleged cheaper smartphone appear

Apple may be launching a more affordable version of the new iPhone 6, according to reports.

Images have been leaked by phone site Future Supplier, which purport to show the rear housing of a new iPhone 6C.

The leak allegedly shows that the new device will be more affordable than the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

According to Future Supplier the flash hole is oval shaped, rather than round like the iPhone 5C.

The second image also shows two loud speaker holes at the bottom of the rear housing, while the iPhone 5C has only one.

Apple released the anticipated iPhone 6 and 6 Plus last September, and sold over 10 million of the devices in one weekend.

Both phones also have a Retina HD display and are powered by Apple’s A8 chip.
