Danish accessories manufacturer to be distributed by UK firm

Interactive Ideas signs Sandberg

Interactive Ideas has signed a distribution deal with Danish accessories firm Sandberg in the UK.

Sandberg, which has been operating in the Scandinavian markets for more than a decade, is hoping the deal will strengthen its presence in the UK.

"By this agreement with Sandberg, we will be able to offer a complete set-up for retailers and resellers. We see it as a perfect companion to our range of software and peripherals for retailers and resellers of entertainment, education and business products," commented marketing manager at Interactive Ideas, Michael Breeze.

"Sandberg provide high quality products, well functioning hotline service, unequalled online facilities, great warranty terms, ease of use and attractive dealer margins," he added.

"We are very pleased to add Interactive Ideas as a keystone to our British go-to-market strategy," said business development director at Sandberg, Erling Hoff Petersen (pictured).

"As a well known supplier to IT-dealers through-out the UK, we believe that this agreement will help us grow our business in the UK. As a new-comer to the British market, co-operating with a local, pro-active partner with long-term relations to the dealers is crucial to success," added Petersen.

It also is keen to help improve dealer’s profitability. "No matter the size of the space, we feel obliged to make these racks the best performing you have," Petersen said.

Sandberg’s range of products will be available from Interactive Idea’s from the 20th July 2007.
