Intel processor boosts Kurio Tab children's tablet

KD Group has teamed up with Intel to feature the Intel Atom Z2520 processor (Clover Trail+) inside its new Kurio Tab children's device, increasing processing power and energy efficiency.

The Kurio Tab features a range of pre-loaded applications including e-books, a music player, video player, Google Play, a Kurio Genius Child-Safe Internet Filtering System that searches and filters more than 450 million websites, and a Virtual Piggy Bank.

The Kurio Genius parental controls are in place allow adults to set up to eight independent user profiles to specify when and for how long their child can access the Kurio each day, the level of internet access and app availability for each child, dependent on age.
