Intel could be cutting jobs this month

There may be Intel job cuts across the globe throughout June, according to reports.

The Oregonian newspaper claims to have obtained an internal memo from Intel, which indicates that the company will be making the cuts from June 15th as it looks to keep its expenses flat to match its reduced revenue outlook for 2015.

In April, Intel revealed that it plans to cut its research and administrative budget by $300 million this year.

The memo doesn’t state how many people will their jobs, but the memo states: "We need to reduce overall spending for the second half of the year. Some of this will come from reductions in employment and some from other spending cuts. Employee reductions will vary by business group."
