Ingram Micro UK has been awarded UK and Ireland Distributor of the Year and EMEAR Distributor of the Year at Cisco’s partner summit event in Las Vegas.
The awards follow the distributor’s success at Cisco’s EMEAR Distribution Forum in Madrid at the end of 2013, where its UK team picked up the distributor title for its enterprise networking group.
Julian Thompson, senior director for Advanced Solutions at Ingram Micro UK commented: “We are very proud to have been awarded these honours from Cisco and I have congratulated my team on their Cisco focus and commitment throughout FY13.
“Last year saw us make significant investments in certifying our dedicated sales teams who now hold a comprehensive range of Cisco qualifications.
“These enhanced skills are playing a relevant role in developing our customers and as FY14 rolls out, our particular focus will be on nurturing our Distribution Accelerated Partner and Premier customers while continuing to support our Gold partners.”
