The UK arm of global distributor Ingram Micro has extended its CreditBuilder programme, introducing it to more resellers and increasing its overall credit facility for the fifth consecutive year.
CreditBuilder, which launched in 2008, enables qualifying resellers to build a credit facility of up to £100k in a 12-month-period. The firm says resellers must use the facility to enable regular increases in the limit, and payments must be agreed by direct debit. The programme has seen more than 300 per cent growth every year since launch.
“Over the next 12 months we are expecting to build available channel credit for participating resellers in this programme from the current £80m level to £150m,” explained Matt Sanderson, managing director for Ingram Micro. “At the same time, we expect to introduce CreditBuilder to an additional 900 customers who have not yet taken advantage of the offering and could see an immediate financial benefit for their business.”
Sanderson continued: “Once again we are offering more monthly credit in the SMB segment, and bringing the potential for short-term growth and long term development to even more resellers. No one is doing more than Ingram Micro to support the needs of SMB resellers in the market today.”
