Ingram Micro UK has won Cisco’s EMEAR FY’15 Small Business Distributor of the Year Award.

At the ceremony held in Vienna last week Ingram Micro UK triumphed over around 70 distributors in EMEAR to scoop the title for the second time.

Dan Maynard, head of category for Datacentre, Infrastructure & Networking, Ingram Micro UK expanded on the reasons his Cisco team clinched the honour: “The energy we have continuously focused has enabled us to become the largest distributor in Cisco’s UK small business space and be first to market with specific partner messaging on competitive products.

“We’ve leveraged our reseller enablement programme, Fly Higher which ensures the tactical delivery of opportunities to Cisco partners and introduced key customers to our in-house marketing resource, Agency Ingram Micro, which supports them in creating end user campaigns to drive growth amongst their small business customers.

“The addition of a dedicated Cisco sales specialist to drive small business growth has also contributed to an extremely successful year. Combined with gaining our ATD accreditation and the other achievements we have accomplished in FY’15 I feel this award serves as well-deserved praise which I am happy to share with my team.”

Owen Mc Allister, Cisco EMEAR lead small business distribution commented: “Congratulations to Ingram Micro UK for securing the FY’15 Cisco Small Business Distributor of the Year award. Ingram Micro UK are well deserved winners especially as they make excellent use of their wide partner reach, strong marketing engine and excellent sales program focus.

“They are specifically agile in delivering new Cisco product messaging, strong at getting new product details out to the market fast, which is key given our extensive new roadmap in Small Business Enterprise Networking. Very well done team, keep going!”
