Ingram Micro’s EMEA division has announced the appointment of its new executive managing director.
Having previously led the Ingram Micro US Consumer Electronics Division, McCarty will assume the position of executive managing director of Ingram Micro United Kingdom & Ireland.
Prior to joining Ingram Micro, McCarty worked for Dell Computer Corporation in Canada as senior account executive, acquisition account executive, inside sales manager, and inside sales representative.
In his new role, McCarty will be responsible for further developing and enhancing the company’s market position in the United Kingdom & Ireland, and leading a 400 employee strong team.

“Brent is an experienced IT distribution professional with a strong track record of success within Ingram Micro. Under his leadership, our UK & Ireland business will continue on its path of growth.”
