The pricing for Apple’s iCloud service has been revealed by the select few that have access to the online music streaming service.
According to a Gigaom report, iOS 5 and Mac OS X Lion users will get 5GB of cloud storage free of charge, as the firm had previously announced. 15GB of storage will cost the user $20 per year, no European pricing is yet known.
25GB will be available for $40 a year and the top shelf 55GB iCloud storage plan will reportedly set you back $100 per year. iCloud wont be available officially until the launch of iOS 5 later this year.
Gigaom’s Darrell Etherington gained early access to iCloud and said: "Apple’s decision to go for a unified look and feel between the web-based iCloud presence, Mac apps and iOS software is a great idea for encouraging adoption of cloud services among users new to the concept."
