Hewlett Packard has revealed its results for the second quarter, beating Wall Street expectations and seeing revenues of $30 billion.

The vendors results were driven by 54 per cent growth in its business industry standard servers division, as well as strong sales in emerging markets such as Brazil, Russia, India, and China, which increased by 25 per cent to bring in ten per cent of the company’s total revenue.

“HP drove double-digit revenue growth and improving profits, contributing to our twentieth consecutive quarter of year-over-year operating margin expansion,” said HP’s executive vice president and CFO, Cathie Lesjak.

“With the improving demand environment, we are accelerating investments for growth while raising our full-year outlook.”
