HP has announced new additions to its line-up of Windows 8.1 all-in-one (AiO) desktops and notebooks built for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
The HP EliteOne 800 G1 AiO - out in the UK in April starting from £850 - features a 21.5-inch (54.6cm) diagonal screen that becomes more flexible with optional stands or a space-saving VESA wall mount,as well as rotation sensors that show information on screen as it was meant to be displayed by rotating from landscape to portrait when wall mounted.
The all-in-one has DTS Studio Sound and a Full HD webcam,plus a choice of 4th generation Intel Core processors,solid-state drives and solid-state hybrid drive options, with support for up to two external displays.
It comes with HP Client Security, Intel vPro management features,HP Client Security and HP BIOS. Optional RAID technology also offers increased data security.
HP has also detailed the ProBook x360 310 (pictured) - a convertible notebook designed for business. This will be out in select EMEA countries - PCR has contacted HP for specific UK pricing and release info.
Update: An HP spokesperson has told PCR that "availability is deal-based so availability and price will depend upon customer demand".
The ProBook has a durable hinge that lets users change into tablet mode by folding the screen over, or showcase presentations in stand or tent mode on an 11.6-inch (29.4cm) diagonal screen. Plus, it has multi-touch gestures and HP Imagepad.
This Windows 8.1 convertible notebook comes with an Intel Celeron or Pentium processor and up to 750 GB HDD drive options, with security tools like TPM 1.2 and HP SimplePass.
