There are now just over two months to go until the PCR Awards – and the event promises a night of entertainment, gaming and networking, as well as the opportunity to be recognised for excellence by your peers.
The PC Retail Awards take place on Thursday March 19th at the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington, with 60 different companies battling it out for one of 16 awards. An Industry Achievement award will also be handed out to the individual who has contributed strongly to the UK and computing industry over the past year.

The man in charge of hosting the event is Adam Bloom (pictured), who has been described as one of Britain's most exciting and original stand-up comedians. Ricky Gervais said recently: "He's been one of my favourite stand-ups for about ten years. Bloom not only has meticulous, brilliant lines, but also an intense and fragile honesty."
Boasting a run of sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Festival over the past few years, plus three series on Radio 4, Bloom has also enjoyed stints on TV shows including Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Have I Got News For You and Mock The Week.

And the party doesn't end after the room has toasted the final winners. Casino tables will mean everyone gets the chance to have a flutter – even if it's just for fun. And a top DJ is being lined up for the after-show party, too.
The PC Retail Awards are sponsored by AMD (Platinum Partner), Gem (Frontline Category Partner), Widget (Gold Partner), Interactive Ideas (Gold Partner) and Channel Advantage (Opening Drinks Reception).
