Halloween sales from Steam, YoYoTech, Amazon and more

Halloween is upon us once again, and to celebrate the spooky season, a number of retailers and distributors are offering giveaways, price cuts and special offers on their products.

Steam
Steam has launched its Halloween Sale with discounts on more than 400 of its scariest games, including Left 4 Dead 2, Fallout 3, BioShock 2, and Devil May Cry 4.

The sale will run until 10am PT (5pm GMT) on Monday, 3rd November.

Amazon App Store
Amazon is offering over $115 in paid apps for free on its app store.

There will be almost 40 paid apps available for free over the weekend, including Plants vs Zombies, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1, Toca Twin, and World of Goo.

YoYoTech
The system builder is offering low prices on a number of products including the Shaitan and Saahir gaming systems, as well as the AMD HD7870 Eyefinity.

YoYoTech is also offering first come first serve deals on limited stock.

Target Components
Target has set up a fun game on its website for customers. The distributor has hidden 50 ‘beasties’ around targetcomponents.co.uk and those who find all of them will win a prize. The game ends at midnight on Sunday.

Dabs.com
Dabs has some ‘Spooky Discount Codes’ on offer for a limited time only, including £10 off orders over £199, £25 off orders over £399, and £40 off orders over £599.

Total War: Rome II
The title has a new free update especially for the Halloween season.

The update adds the festival of Lemuria to the game as well as a new seasonal challenge, Nightmare Mode, which causes your troops to suffer horrifying visions in battle.

Greenman Gaming
The games retailer is offering up to 90 per cent off selected titles as well as some hidden treats and tricks.
