The hacker collective known as Anonymous has posted the login details and private information of over 4,000 bank executives.
According to ZDNet, a spreadsheet thought to contain the data was posted to a .gov website. It allegedly contained log-in credentials, IP addresses and contact information.
The move is part of an ongoing campaign to force reforms to computer crime laws in the US, following the suicide of internet activist Aaron Swartz after he was hounded by Government officials.
Codenamed ‘Operation Last Resort’, the campaign has also seen an attack on the website of the United States Sentencing Commission, which is still offline after being transformed in to a game of Asteroids.
