GfK: 'Consumers still buying'

Research house finds a large number of products still selling well

Market researcher GfK has found that consumer spending has continued despite the recession.

Speaking at this year’s Retail Vision event, Dr. Rudi Aunkofer examined the pressure on the European market but highlighted 30 product categories that are still enjoying good retail sales.

GfK has also made some predictions on potential growth areas for the PC industry, such as All-in-One’s in the desktop category and connected TV.
