Fractal Design has announced the Kelvin – a ‘uniquely expandable’ water cooling system for desktop computers.

The all-in-one system is powered by a ceramic pump, which Fractal claims is silent and strong enough to support ‘considerable expansion’.

The CPU block and radiator are additionally constructed from pure copper for increased longevity.

All of the Kelvin’s parts have fully standard G quarter-inch thread fittings for compatibility with most enthusiast water cooling products.

In addition, the fluid in the coolers can be topped up using a dedicated refilling port. Fractal stated that the feature should combat the gradual loss of coolant, which can affect overall cooling efficiency.

The Kelvin is available in three different versions: the S36, which includes a triple fan radiator and a 30mm thick 360, as well as the thin 240mm T12 and the thick 120mm S24 models.

The T12 will retail for $99.99 (£59), the S24 for $119.99 (£71) and the S36 for $139.99 (£83).
