Etailer Mobile Fun shows off a pair of leather cases

First iPhone 6 cases revealed

The first iPhone 6 cases have been shown off by mobile device accessory etailer Mobile Fun.

The firm claims it has the first genuine leather iPhone 6 case in stock – the Encase Wallet (pictured).

"Last week, Apple finally confirmed their upcoming press event on September 9th," said Mobile Fun in a statement.

"The Cupertino-based company is set to announce a pair of new iPhones – the iPhone 6 and 6L – and we’ve already begun to prepare cases and accessories for these new models."

The Encase Wallet – available in black or brown – includes four pockets for credit cards and cash, held inside the case by means of a magnetic clasp. The iPhone fits into the right hand side of the case, with its screen protected by the Encase’s flip cover.

Additional moulding around the iPhone protect its edges and corners from scratches, while also maintaining its secure placement inside the case.

There are cutouts for buttons and features, including a space for what Mobile Fun says is ‘that new lock screen button position on the right hand side of the phone – while on the back, there’s also a cutout for the camera and its flash module’.

The iPhone 6 is expected to be revealed next week, with some rumours suggesting Apple will also unveil a wearable device during the press event.
