Exertis partners with Wasp Barcode Technologies

Exertis has revealed its new partnership with Wasp Barcode Technologies, bringing Wasp’s full range of barcode solutions to market.

As one of the largest barcode vendors in the UK, Wasp has grown rapidly by focusing on easy-to-use barcode solutions for smaller businesses looking into auto-ID.

Exertis says that customers will be able to enjoy the healthy margins available on Wasp products, which can be as much as 15 to 20 per cent.

Jamie Brothwell, general manager of the print business unit at Exertis, said: “Wasp represents an exciting opportunity for Exertis UK as we focus on complementary technology products to our traditional printing business.

“Its presence within the public sector and movement toward mobile solutions make Wasp a great fit.”

The distributor and Wasp will offer customers a series of deals on the vendor’s product range, which includes barcode scanners, label printers, Asset Tracking and Stock Control Software and ePOS.

As well as that, the deals will combine consumables, barcode accessories, labels and Time and Attendance and Package tracking solutions.

Hugh Furness, sales director at Wasp UK, added: “Exertis is the UK’s fastest growing distributor for IT products and is a key growth partner for us.

“We feel very positive about this agreement; it will bring Wasp products to a whole new segment of customers in the UK and beyond.”
