Distributor Exertis Gem has struck a new partnership with data recovery specialists Infinity Wireless to target the mobile device market.
It will distribute Enigma Recovery products including SmartPhone Recovery Pro software, which can restore up to 98 per cent of lost data on a smartphone, tablet or computer.
Originally targeting the law enforcement and spyware market, Infinity Wireless has sold 30,000 licences into this low volume, high margin market since March 2011.
Exertis Gem says that PC sales are expected to fall by 10.6 per cent this year, while tablet sales is predicted to grow by 69.8 per cent, and smartphone growth is said to be up by 4.3 per cent.
"There are over 20 million iOS devices in the UK, with around five million monthly Google searches relating to iOS data recovery solutions – and according to Google trends the demand is growing," said Exertis Gem in a statement.
"We are delighted to have been selected as the distribution partner for the SmartPhone Recovery Pro brand.
"We are confident that with our extensive partnerships throughout the retail sector, we will ensure the continued development and expansion of the Enigma Recovery Products in the UK."
