Exertis has announced its partnership with BACtrack, who will distribute its range of alcohol monitoring tech devices.

BACtrack’s range of software enables users to track their drinking habits and gives them the ability to understand how their body processes their alcohol intake.

It will also alert users when they consume too much alcohol, which may impact on their diet or fitness regime.

Caroline Hope, consumer electronics general manager at Exertis, said: “The information provided by BACtrack helps users put alcohol back into the context of their diet and fitness regime, ensuring they can enjoy a drink while keeping a check on their alcohol consumption, so that it doesn’t impact their health or well-being.”

BACtrack’s products range from keychain units at £29.99, to units that connect to smartphone apps via Bluetooth that resell at over £49.99, all the way to professional grade products at £149.99.

This also includes the BACtrack Mobile Smartphone Breathalyser for $129.99 (£80), which works alongside an app to display users alcohol consumption.

This news come after distributors Exertis Micro-P and Exertis Gem announced that the companies have now combined into one business, trading as Exertis (UK) Ltd.
