Distributor will offer free demos

Exertis bolsters portfolio with Samsung displays

Exertis has announced its new partnership with Samsung, distributing the vendor’s Smart Signage DME-BR/BM Series.

The range of interactive displays offer an integrated solution for businesses or education customers, and will allow users to deliver presentations.

Ian Aitkin, general manager for the visual division at Exertis, said: “Exertis is delighted to have been chosen by Samsung as its preferred distribution partner for its new range of interactive LED touchscreen large format displays.

“Exertis, in partnership with Samsung, will be offering free demonstrations on the new displays and will also introduce a preferred partner scheme for key customers.”

The displays are available as Hand Touch in 65-inch, 75-inch and 82-inch variants (DM65/75/82E-BR), while the Hybrid Touch (DM82E-BM) is available in an 82-inch size.

Each display comes with a Screen Mirroring function, which allows users to share content directly from a mobile or tablet, plus they can also operate in a PC-less mode, meaning there’s no need for a separate PC to run it.

The infrared touch screens also allow dual drawing capabilities and up to 10 touch points.

Michael Dawson, distribution account manager for the enterprise business team at Samsung, added: “The latest addition to the Samsung portfolio is a fully integrated e-board solution available in 65-inch, 75-inch and 82-inch.

“The interactive market continues to grow and is estimated to be worth in excess of £40 million in 2015 with this technology being embraced by both corporate and education customers.”
