Entatech grows networking team with three new additions

IT distributor Entatech UK has expanded its networking team with the addition of three new product specialists: Ian Garden, James Kenny and Dan Jones, pictured left to right.

Under the guidance of channel manager Luke Steel, the networking channel team has grown significantly and will actively work together to provide Entatech’s resellers with advice on the latest routers, wireless and network switches to be released by key networking and communications vendors.

James Kenny, Netgear Product Specialist, joined the company in January of this year. With a background in sales and Account Management, Kenny will be responsible for keeping customers updated with Netgear’s latest products and analysing where the products can be effectively placed within today’s market.

Ian Garden has been appointed Product Specialist for Billion and TP-Link. Garden will be focusing on the vast range of routers and switches that Entatech supply and will be advising customers on the most suitable products and solutions for their requirements. Garden has an established background within the sales industry and has also been tasked with bringing new business to Entatech.

Digium and Trendnet Product Specialist, Dan Jones, has been with the company just a few months, but has recently passed a series of Digium qualifications and is now a Digium Certified Sales Professional. Daniel has completed the Digium Switchvox Sales training (DCSP), meaning he is competent in Switchvox variants, its capabilities, parameters and software compliances. Jones has also recently qualified as a certified Asterisk integrator.

Jon Atherton, Entatech Vice President, commented on the recent expansion of the team: “Our networking channel is continuously evolving and as we bring on board new vendors and products, it’s vital that we are able to provide our customers with up to date advice and knowledge on the vast range of products available to facilitate all of their needs. The inclusion of our new Product Specialists – and other staff who have come on board over recent months – will only strengthen the service we’re able to provide to our resellers, thus strengthening our business relationships and operations as a whole.”

The Retail Channel team has also introduced a new Fujitsu Product Specialist, Craig Pearce, who will work closely with Fujitsu and Systems, Servers & Displays Channel Manager, Paul Olliver.
