CHANNEL EXPO: Enta's Jon Atherton says that this years Channel Expo has been much more useful than previous years.

Enta says show better than ever

Its no secret that Channel Expo 2007 is a smaller event than it has been in previous years. However when most people point this out they are putting the show down – Enta Techs’s group vice president Jon Atherton thinks its a good thing.

"There are less people at the show, but the quality of people is much better," Atherton told PC Retail. "Its almost been a distilling process. The conversations we’re having are lasting longer and there’s more business being done. Its a more successful show than last year."

At the firm’s stand CCTV was gaining a lot of attention, while Atherton said that the Microsoft Vista and Office display and the gaming area (where specially designed PCs were showing off the graphics hungry Flight Sim) were proving very popular.

Meanwhile, Enta Tech’s Sister firm Enta Net was offering free VoIP services to everyone who visited the stand during the two day event.
