Enta revs up for Red Nose Day

On March 15th distributor Entatech will be celebrating Red Nose Day 2013 with a host of fun activities in order to raise some cash for Comic Relief.

Entatech security vendors Securix and Yale will kickstart the fundraising on Thursday March 14th by contributing up to £2.50 to Comic Relief on selected CCTV and alarm kits sold.

Keeping with the tradition of Comic Relief, Entatech will be holding a series of fun, one minute challenges at their headquarters that staff can compete in and place bets on who will be victorious. Some of the challenges include:-

  • The Marshmallow Challenge – Who can stuff the most marshmallows in their mouth in one minute – without chewing!
  • The Cracker Challenge – Who can eat the most crackers in one minute – without taking a drink!
  • The Jelly Bean Challenge – How many jelly beans can you get into a jar with the aid of chopsticks?
  • The Dress-Up Challenge – Who can put on the most pieces of clothing in one minute?

Two members of Entatech have also donated their bodies to the cause and will be getting waxed should they raise a total of £200 by 11:30am on Friday.

In order to get into the spirit of Comic Relief, all staff be wearing something red to work and will also be participating in Jessie J’s nationwide hair sweepstake where they can choose which hairstyle, out of a possible 30, she will grow her hair back into. Whoever picks the correct hairstyle will win half of the funds raised, with the other half going to Comic Relief. Some staff members will also be baking cakes and treats, to be enjoyed by the staff in return for a donation. A tasty treat to end the week and a great way to raise some pennies!

Entatech will be keeping their customers and followers up to date with their efforts throughout the day, posting pictures, videos and statuses on their dedicated Twitter pages @Entatech.

Jon Atherton, Vice President at Entatech, said: “We’re always keen to get involved with charities and Comic Relief is not only a fantastic way to raise money for a good cause, but it also gives us a chance to do something fun together as a company. I’m looking forward to seeing how the staff get on with the challenges we’ve got planned and especially looking forward to seeing two of our account managers getting waxed!”
