New Cherry peripheral is perfectly suited to ?techno-addicts?, vendor claims

EasyHub keyboard comes to market

Cherry has launched its EasyHub keyboard into the UK market, and for a limited time is offering a free gift along with every unit sold.

The vendor describes the corded keyboard as ‘ultra-flat’, with a ‘whisper keystroke’ for quiet performance. A built-in USB connection allows users to easily connect devices such as MP3 players, cameras and external storage. Meanwhile, 11 hotkeys provide easy control of functions such as the internet, media player and office applications.

“No longer will technoaddicts have to climb behind their desks or crawl around on the floor to charge their favourite toys. Now USB sticks, digital cameras and MP3 players can rest quietly on the desk next to the keyboard: just connect them to the integrated USB port and get started,” Cherry said.

The EasyHub, which is available from distributors Tekdata, EntaTech, Northamber and Interactive Ideas, retails at around £35.

Cherry is bundling a 2GB USB memory stick with each keyboard sold during the Christmas period while stocks last.
