DSGi has slashed the price of its Tech Guys’ PC check-up service in half as part of its ‘Get you PC fit for 2009’ campaign.
The firm has reduced the price of its healthcheck service to £24.99 – down from £49.99, with the retailer pitching it as the ideal way to combat any slowdown caused by the Christmas festivities.
It has also cut the price of memory installation by a third to £9.99, as well as its upgrade service by £10 to £19.99.
"With the amount we use our computers for – from playing games, surfing the internet, watching videos, to uploading photographs, its no wonder they can get tired out quite quickly," said head of marketing at DSGi, Tim Fairs.
"However, putting your computer in for a Healthcheck every year in the same way that you’d give your car a service can make a real difference to its performance, and will save you money by extending its lifespan too."
