Dell has announced the next phase of its channel programme with the unveiling of its Certified Partner Programme in Europe, with it promising those qualifying for the program incentive-based co-marketing funds, training and even more favourable pricing.
Billed by the vendor as the next partner stage within its channel programme after the recently announced Registered Partner, it will be aimed at resellers with significant services and enterprise businesses, practice area specific requirements, demonstrated Dell product knowledge in practice area, relevant Dell product/solutions certification and appropriate third party technical certification.
"Since day one of our PartnerDirect launch in Europe, we have been speaking to our partners about the tools they need to be successful in delivering Dell solutions," vice president and general manager for the vendor's EMEA channel programme, Josh Claman said.
"Specifically, our partners asked us for a programme that would help them easily and flexibly acquire the skills to better address their customer's needs," he added.
"Based on their feedback, we have developed a simple, flexible and scalable certification framework that offer e-learning and online support, recognises and builds on our partners' existing industry certifications and extends their business capabilities."
Part of this is the introduction of CompTIA and Skillsoft qualifications for a variety of differing business areas including Enterprise Architecture, SME service and Manager Services Provider.
