Dell rolls out ad campaign for services division

Online, direct mail and B2B activities in the pipeline

Dell is kicking off the first dedicated advertising campaign for its services division, which was formed following its acquisition of Perot Systems late last year.

According to a report by Marketing Week, the campaign for the division will cover B2B magazine ads, online and targeted direct mail.

“We want to boost awareness of Dell Services,” Atul Vohra, head of marketing for Dell Services told Marketing Week. “Dell is a ubiquitous brand with consumers and businesses. We want to leverage that awareness and build demand for our services.”

Dell acquired IT services and business solutions specialist Perot Systems last September in a deal worth $3.9 billion.
