Vendor looks to reassure customers over GPU problems by extending care by 12 months

Dell extends warranties on Nvidia products

Following on from the news that several laptops and PCs shipped over the past year have been affected by problems with Nvidia GPUs, Dell has announced that it will be extending warranties by a further 12 months for selected products.

The extension, which is on top of its current 60-month limited warranty, is being offered for its Precision M2300, M4300, M65, Inspiron 1420, Latitude D620, D630, D630c, D820, D830, Vostro Notebook 1310, 1400, 1510, 1710, and XPS M1330 and 1530.

Dell has said that it will be releasing further details of the service plans in the coming weeks.
