Dell and John Lewis sign exclusive retail deal

Dell has signed an exclusive retail deal with department store John Lewis for its new high-end Adamo XPS laptop line.

The PCs are available from John Lewis stores immediately, and feature a highly stylised design and a number of advanced features.

The device sits at the high end of the market, retailing at around £1799, and is described as ‘aspirational’ by Dell.

"It’s totally different from anything else that’s on the market in terms of the look and feel of the product," Sarah Shields, EU general manager of Dell consumer told PCR. "The whole way it open is totally different to anything else – you slide your finger across the top and lights flash. It’s so sleek and gorgeous."

“People’s lifestyles have evolved and technology is now an intrinsic part of our lives,” she added. “John Lewis department stores have a distinct heritage and trust, and have always been at the cutting edge of delivering a wide variety of high-quality, stylish products including our newest addition, the Adamo XPS. Our products, with solid performance and stunning designs, fit seamlessly onto the John Lewis shelves.”
