Currys PC World rolls out social media Christmas campaign - video

Customers will get the chance to win a tech bundle

Currys PC World has launched its Christmas campaign featuring Nick Christmas, CEO of 'Santa Tech Inc'.

The series of short films see Nick Christmas use technology and magic to select the best gifts for customers.

The films, which were created with social media agency 1000heads, will be shown throughout December. They also invite people to visit Currys PC World's ‘Tech Santa’s Grotto’ on its Facebook page.

They will then get the opportunity to win a range of tech bundles and even talk to Tech Santa himself.

Bridget Meiring, social media marketing manager at Currys PC World, said: “This campaign embodies our 'We Start With You' philosophy, demonstrating the importance we place on getting to know our customers in order to help them make the right product choices.

“The creative team at 1000heads have taken this focus fully on board and created an original campaign which fits completely with our mantra and aims."

A final film will also be shown on Christmas Day where a Tech Santa ‘Queen’s Speech’ will take place.
