Playlists now available for different moods and environments

Curated Spotify playlists come to Android and iOS

Spotify has started rolling out its new ‘Browse’ feature which brings curated playlists to the music streaming service.

The new feature offers playlists for different moods and environments, as well as the ability to browse through new and popular releases.

Spotify has been in the news recently due to Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke saying the service leaves ‘shareholders rolling in it’. The band’s producer Nigel Godrich also spoke out, saying it pays new artists ‘F*ck all’.

In an odd move, Radiohead’s co-manager Brain Message has backed Spotify, even though Thom Yorke has pulled recent albums from the service.

The Browse feature is being gradually rolled out on iOS and Android starting today.
