Crucial opens up netbook upgrade market

Crucial is looking to capitalise on the recent explosion in netbooks by expanding its range of component upgrades to cover the new format.

The first products in the new range are solid-state drives, with the firm launching versions to suit the two different connections. The maximum size for the PCI-E interface is 64GB while those with smaller PCI-E mini is 32GB.

No prices have been announced.
